Who does the Help Team work for?

At its 2000 district convention, the Michigan District entrusted her praesidium "with the task of guiding the implementation and training" of a Help Team. In 2002, adopting the recommendations of an ad hoc committee which had studied the issue, and the Help Team was born.

But even though the District formed the Team and the District President appointed it, the Team exists for the benefit of the people it serves. We work for the Lord. We work for the families we serve. We do work under the District President's supervision, but we don't report our conversations back to him.
