The Michigan District Help Team has been called a crisis intervention team. It is a group of pastors, teachers and lay members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) who live and work in the Michigan District of the WELS. We exist to help and support men and women who are leaving the ministry of the Wisconsin Synod and to provide the same help and support to their families.
